There is something magical about watching a movie while lying on a blanket outside.
The National Park Service is providing this outdoor experience for families to enjoy free, family-oriented films in Lincoln Park located at 13th and East Capitol Streets in Northeast, D.C.
All are invited to “Movies by Moonlight” and are encouraged to bring their own snacks, lawn chairs and blankets; however alcohol and grills are not allowed.
“Movies by Moonlight” kicks off Monday, August 13, at 8:45 p.m., with Night at the Museum featuring Ben Stiller.
The next showing will be on Saturday, September 15, at 8:45 p.m., with the animated comedy, Madagascar.
The “Movies by Moonlight” schedule can also be found in here.
