DC Police looking of 'Person of Interest' in armed robbery

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The DC Police Department released video of a man they think has a connection to an armed robbery that happened the night before Halloween, they said. 

It happened at the 1500 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW, just after midnight, police said. 

"The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, clean shaven, in his mid 20's, approximately 5'6" to 5'7" in height, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a purple jacket, dark pants, black sneakers, and a black baseball cap. He was armed with a handgun," police said.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department's TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
