To kick off the 100th anniversary of the Cherry Blossom Festival, The Renaissance Dupont Hotel unveiled its Japanese inspired Menu on Monday.

The menu is a collection of fresh and simple favorites; prepared with locally sourced, indigenous flavors including an Ahi Tuna Sashimi Salad, Kobe Beef Sliders, pan fried beef dumplings, and Tokyo Ramen with pork belly, pork shoulder, fish cakes, and poached eggs.

Executive Chef Devon Capili, who is the only female executive chef in a DC Marriot, also developed a delectable dessert menu featuring a Morello Cherry Bread pudding with dark chocolate cherry ice cream, and three different cherry infused cocktails. My favorite is the Kabukimono with Tequila, Grenadine, fresh squeezed lemon, lime, and orange.

“Our goal is to help our guests discover something new and unique in the city. We want our visitors to sip, savor, shop and see all that DC has to offer especially at this special time of year,” explained Renaissance Dupont Circle Hotel General Manager, Matt Felix.

The Centennial menu will be available from Tuesday, March 13 until Friday, April 27.
